Matchbet asked Footballmad about this last weekends results;

"After the unusually high scoring results of last week, that regrettably I had misjudged, I have had a reasonably good weekend, winning 6 out of 10 bets, and making an 18% profit on my £33.33 stake (I got odds on Matchbet just slightly worse than evens on the winning bets). I have not yet made up the big losses of last weekend. Note that I am scrupulously adhering to the rule that I only allow myself to trade £50 or, if there are accumulated losses, £50 minus such losses. I want to demonstrate how much money I will have made at the end of the year, on this conservative basis."

New tipster service launched

Matchbet will be working with a number of key clients to provide a totally transparent tipster service. Our tipsters will not only be advising other people how to bet but also allowing Matchbet to disclose their bets to all our clients and to inform them of the success of the bets after the event has taken place.

As the service starts we will benefit from our collaboration with a number of industry experts who will provide statistical information to our tipsters; we expect to be able to announce one such collaboration in the next few days.
