Opening an account with Matchbet is easy! All you need to do is fill in our Registration Page.
The first part of the registration page deals with your personal details:
As you'll see on the page, any field with a * beside it is required by us and therefore you must fill it in. This is because the identity and age verification software we use needs certain information from us.
The next part of the page is where you fill in your address:
Please be careful to fill in your address correctly ensuring all the required fields are completed. Choose your country of residence from the drop-down list and we will then use these details to make sure you're a UK resident.
At the moment we are only accepting bets from UK residents, but we hope to be expanding this very soon.
Next you will need to give us some contact details for you. Both a working email address and landline telephone number are essential in order for us to be able to contact you and verify your residential address.
If you would like Matchbet to email you details of news and promotions please tick the box, otherwise we will only use your email address when we need to contact you regarding your account or verify your identity when you contact us.
We then ask you to choose the password you would like to use on your Matchbet account. You can choose any password you like as long as it contains a minimum of six characters, but we strongly recommend that your password is between 8 and 20 characters long and includes both numbers and letters. We also suggest you change your password every 3-6 months.
You will need to use your password every time you log in to your account. You will also need your unique username, and this will be sent to your registered email address once your account has been opened.
We also ask you to provide the answer to one of our security questions. This is so that if you contact us, we can quickly verify your identity and make sure we only discuss details of your account with you.
Some of our clients are affiliated with an organisation which has become a Matchbet partner. If you have been directed to the Matchbet website by one of these partners, for example Coffeehouse or the Spectator, you should choose that affiliate. Depending upon where you.re coming from, this may be pre-set for you.
At the end of this section you will need to tick the box to indicate that you agree to our Terms and Conditions
The final part of the registration form asks you to give us either your passport or driving licence details. Again, this is required for our identity and age verification process.
Please be careful to fill in whichever one you choose correctly, otherwise your application for an account may be denied.
Once you have completed the form, click on Submit Registration and hopefully you'll receive a confirmation message within a few seconds. Your username will be sent to your registered email address and you will be able to log in to your account straightaway.
If we have been unable to verify your age or identity from the information you've provided, we may still be able to give you an account. Please contact us and we will do all we can to help you get up and running as quickly as possible.
